This page will contain the following resources and protocols to be used for conducting individual replications:

Replication Protocols

  • Standardized protocols for conducting an individual direct replication
  • Preregistration templates and reporting guidelines
  • Practical guidance for study selection, dataset matching, and replication workflows

Replication Surveys

  • Standardized pre-analysis surveys assessing expected replication success and rated similarity between original and replication methods (as estimated by the original studies’ authors and by the replication teams)
  • Standardized post-analysis surveys for reporting replication outcomes

Previous work

Here, we provide further references of previous publications and replications from the ReFiNe team. These include a detailed replication guide proposing an MRI-tailored spatially informed framework of how to conduct and evaluate replications which constitutes the conceptual basis of ReFiNe, as well as cross-dataset conceptual replications of frequently investigated findings in the domain of depression neuroimaging.
